Today was pretty sad because I had waited too long to buy a ticket to Hawaii and someone bought it. I didn't think anyone else out there would be dumb enough like me to wait till the day he wanted to fly to buy his ticket in the hopes that the price would drop some so he could afford it. But there is someone out there in Los Angeles who did, and now they are either gonna be my teammate or my arch rival. I called Hawaiian to ask if there was still any seats left today and I told her I wanted to fly today. She gave me a hard time! So I have to ask...
What the fuck is wrong with buying a ticket to fly some place on the same day you want to leave?
Do you put gas in your car so you can drive it tomorrow? Do you buy a ride on a bus and then tell the driver, "Hey see you next week man. That's when I'm planning on using this." Or god forbid you have a deathwish and you buy an Amtrak ticket to take down to San Diego for ComiCon in August? NO. I want my CosPlayers NOW. And that's how I feel about travel. That's the reason I work. So I can make money so I can travel to some place better.
